 The seventh Annual Academic Conference of Chinese Society of Psychiatry(CSP) held on September 9-11, 2006, in Beijing Jiuhua Spa & Resort. The Conference was sponsored by Chinese Society of Psychiatry and organized under Mental Health Institute of Peking University (Peking University 6th Hospital). This meeting was also a national continue educational project. More than 1000 participants from different parts of P.R.C attended this conference, and most of them arrived on September 8th. A total number of 600 academic papers accepted on this conference.
This conference included two plenary sessions which 18 speakers presented their research work and 14 topic symposias such as: Biological psychiatry , Social Psychiatry, Children and Preadult Psychiatry, Women Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Cross-cultural Psychiatry, Alcohol and Material Dependence, Internet and Psychiatry, Affective Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and other special topics. Furthermore, a special forum on administration of psychiatic hospital which the speaker are all the presidents of psychiatric hospital from different districts of China.
During this conference, another forum named "Forum on Adequate Application of Antipsychotic Agents" held.
